Hex Merge for Android

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DyxotaGame (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the mobile game Hex Merge (the “Game”), published under the Android package name com.dyxotagame.hexmerge.

Hex Merge does not require an account. We do not ask you to provide your name, address, phone number, or payment information inside the Game.

1. Information stored on your device

Hex Merge stores gameplay progress and settings locally on your device. This may include the active puzzle board, tile tray, score and best score, tutorial progress, language and audio preferences, and your advertising privacy choice. This information is used to provide and restore Game functionality. We do not operate a server that receives this locally stored game progress.

You can remove locally stored information by clearing the Game’s storage in Android settings or uninstalling the Game.

2. Advertising and third-party processing

Hex Merge displays interstitial and rewarded advertisements using Unity LevelPlay, an advertising mediation service provided by Unity. LevelPlay may select among the advertising networks configured for the Game. The currently configured mediated advertising networks are Unity Ads and Yandex Ads. Rewarded advertisements are requested only after an explicit player action in exchange for a described in-game benefit. Interstitial advertisements are shown only at natural pauses in gameplay.

When the advertising service is initialized or advertisements are requested or shown, Unity LevelPlay and the advertising network selected to serve an ad may collect, process, and share information including:

  • device or other identifiers, including identifiers assigned by advertising providers and the Android advertising identifier when available and permitted;
  • technical device, network, and app information, such as IP address, device model, operating-system version, language, screen characteristics, app version, and package name;
  • approximate location inferred from information such as the IP address or network connection;
  • advertising interactions and delivery information, such as ad requests, impressions, clicks, dismissals, and reward events;
  • limited diagnostic, security, or performance information needed to deliver, measure, secure, and troubleshoot advertising services.

Advertising information may be processed for ad delivery and personalization, frequency capping, measurement and analytics, service security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and legal compliance. Data transmitted by the advertising SDKs is encrypted in transit. Hex Merge does not add a separate custom analytics or crash-reporting service.

Hex Merge does not request Android precise- or approximate-location permissions and does not provide GPS coordinates to the advertising SDKs. Advertising providers may nevertheless infer approximate location from an IP address or similar network information.

Before initializing the advertising service, Hex Merge asks you to choose between non-personalized and personalized advertising. Your choice is stored locally and passed to Unity LevelPlay, which may pass the consent signal to mediated advertising networks that support its consent APIs. You can change the choice later by selecting Privacy in the Game’s main menu. Android privacy and advertising settings may provide additional controls, including the ability to reset or delete the advertising identifier.

Unity and Yandex process advertising information under their own terms and policies. For further details, review the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy, the Unity Cookie and Advertising Policy, and the Yandex Ads Privacy Policy.

3. Information you send to us

If you contact us for support or make a privacy request, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use it only to respond, investigate the issue, protect the Game, or comply with legal obligations. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

4. Legal bases and choices

Depending on where you live, processing may rely on consent, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Game, performance of a requested service, or compliance with law. Hex Merge stores your advertising choice locally on your device and passes the selected consent signal to Unity LevelPlay before the advertising service is initialized. LevelPlay may transmit that signal to supported mediated advertising networks. You may withdraw or change your choice at any time through Main Menu → Privacy. A changed choice is applied to future advertising requests. You may also use the privacy and advertising controls provided by Android and the advertising providers.

5. Data retention and deletion

Local gameplay data remains on your device until you clear the Game’s storage or uninstall it. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer your request, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal requirements.

Advertising information is retained by Unity, Yandex, and any applicable advertising partners according to their respective policies. You may email us to request access to or deletion of information we control, or for assistance with a request involving an advertising provider. We may need reasonable information to verify and locate the relevant records. See our Data Deletion Instructions for the request steps, affected data, and retention details.

6. Children’s privacy

Hex Merge is a general-audience puzzle game and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. We do not ask players to provide age, name, contact information, or account details inside the Game. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support request, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

7. International processing

Third-party providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is governed by their policies and applicable safeguards.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, its services, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated inside the Game or through the store listing when appropriate.
